This is how the life of our beautiful plant begins, as a hard brown tiny shell , be careful as if the seed is light green or feels soft to the touch, it is probably an undeveloped seeds and will not produce any good.
You can start your seeds indoors or outdoors but we recommend doing it indoors as there is a bigger chance of seed survival.
When you start your seed indoors you eliminate any potential pests, weather conditions which may deter the plant’s chance of survival and growth at a point when your cannabis seeds are so vulnerable.
There exist many methods to germinate your seeds, however, here we will be discussing my personal favorite, the paper towel method- this has a high rate of germination while being the simplest and easiest in my opinion.
Equipment needed
- Paper Towel
- Small Glass Of Water
- Container with lid or 2 plates
- Cannabis Seeds
Step 1)
Put the cannabis seeds on the paper towels inside the container or two plates, this container must remain dark and humid at all times.
Step 2)
Open container every few hours and spray it with water until it opens.
3) When the seed opens up, plant it in a small plant or plug.

How long does it take for a Cannabis seed to germinate?
A Cannabis seed may take from 12 – 72 hours (best conditions) to a few days to germinate, or even more if the environmental conditions are bad. Storing your Cannabis seeds properly and giving them the best environmental conditions to germinate will increase the chances of success.

The taste is sweet, earthy, spicy and fruity. After a good cure period you can usually smell and taste a strong lime/lemon smell and taste with a sweet and earthy character. A really tasty combination!
